Mary has over 35 years’ experience as head, teacher, admissions, communications, and alumni director in 5 countries working with 5 different curricula. She was Deputy Executive Director of the European Council of International Schools for 4 years, overseeing 32 professional committees and all the ECIS training programmes. She undertakes international school accreditation for ECIS, CIS, IBO, NEASC, and MSA. She works closely with the IB Organisation and Cambridge University, and universities in England, US and Australia to gain teacher certification accreditation for the ECIS International Teacher Certificate Programme. Mary also works as an independent consultant for start-up schools, an expert witness for court cases, and for the Good Schools Guide. She manages the International Language & Literature Teachers' Cooperative (ILLTC), which is a network of teachers representing 40 languages, providing support to schools and students worldwide.
